Q: How do I do assigned sitting for my wedding reception?

Megan: Good Afternoon and Welcome to OurWeddingDay.com! I'm Megan, how can I help you with your free wedding planning?
Visitor: I am stuck, how do I do assigned sitting for my wedding reception?
Megan: When assigning seats to your guests you should consider putting friends that know each other next to one another. Family members that you know get along can also be seated together. If you have any elderly guests you may wish to seat them away from any loud speakers, guests that drink a lot you can consider placing at the opposite end of the bar
Megan: If you know any guests do not get along do not seat them together
Megan: Once you know how many seats your tables can accommodate you can begin to create your seating chart (once guests also RVSP)
Visitor: how do they know where to sit?
Megan: You can create place cards with their name and table number on it
Visitor: where would I have those cards?
Megan: At the front of the entrance place these cards in alphabetical order so guests can easily find their names
Visitor: do I put one family for place card?
Megan: yes you can place a family on a place card
Visitor: oh okay then I will do that
Visitor: thank you
Megan: You're welcome
Megan: If you ever have any other questions please let me know
Megan: I will be happy to help
