Q: What do you think about renting wedding dresses?

Visitor: I wanted to ask you about renting my dress, I figure I’m only going to use it once, but I’m not sure if renting is a good idea
Megan: There are pros and cons to renting and buying a dress. When renting a dress you can often find one for much less than buying one, the con would be you don't get to keep it, and often have a smaller selection, and often cannot have the dress altered to fit you. When buying a dress you can have it altered and keep it, but it will often cost more
Megan: You can consider a store such as David's Bridal and purchase a dress that you can have altered. They often have a $99 sale that maybe helpful with keeping the cost down
