Q: Can I include my fiancé’s brother without having him in the wedding party?

VISITOR: My fiancé has a step brother he isn't close to but the family wants him to be a part of the wedding.  how can I include him without my fiancé and I being forced to having him be upfront at the altar with us
Megan: If you do not want to make him a groomsman you can ask for him to be an usher
Megan: He can help seat guests as they arrive to your wedding as well as give our programs
VISITOR: thanks that is a great idea. How do we go about asking our friends to be apart of our wedding.
Megan: You can ask your friends by having a lunch or dinner with them all together. Once everyone arrives you can tell them why you asked them to be there
VISITOR: some of them are in different states.
Megan: You can send them a letter, or flowers with a cute note asking them to take part in your special day
Megan: As a fun joke you can send them photos of ugly bridesmaids dresses and promise you will choose better ones for them if they will be in your wedding
VISITOR: Actually that would be perfect for those that I have chosen.
