Bride: I am getting married in 10 days and have already reserved a colonnade, candelabra, a runner, kneeling bench, bows for the pews and one altar flower arrangement.

OWD: You can also place flower petals on the runner.

Bride: Thanks for the tips. Should I have two candelabras or just one because the church is small? With the colonnade, I think another candelabra would take up too much space.

OWD: I think you should only need one.

Bride: I am confused about the Unity Candle. Can you help?

OWD: The Unity Candle represents the joining of the two families into one.

OWD: The Mothers of the Bride and Groom often light the two small taper candles. You can also have another close family member light the smaller candles for you. Next you and your fiancé use the two smaller tapers and unite them onto the larger Unity Candle.

Bride: Do most people rent colonnades for the altar or is it equally acceptable not to have an archway?

OWD: You don't have to have an archway if you do not want one. It is totally up to you.

Bride: Okay thanks. One last question concerning the reception. Is there any place that I can download DJ’s responsibilities?

OWD: Sure we are here to help.

OWD: The job is to make the announcements, such as when you enter the reception. They will announce the cutting of the cake, as well as the first dance.
