Bridal Shower Game Ideas
Fun and Silly Activities for Your Wedding Shower

Bridal shower games can break the ice, entertain your guests, and transform any shower from slow to scintillating. For best results, tailor the games to fit your guests. Go with the traditional selections if you have an older crowd and save more daring diversions for an intimate group. Remember to take plenty of pictures!

Treasure hunt.

for women-only showers
Before the shower, write down items that a woman might carry in her purse. Include a mix of common items, such as lip gloss, tissues, a wallet, or credit card, along with more unusual objects like a passport or eyelash curler. Throughout the shower, the bride’s mother or the Maid Of Honor should call out the name of items individually. The first guest to take an article out of her purse wins a prize. To make the game more fun, give out prizes that match the items each guest produced. Give makeup to the woman who brought out the lip gloss, or reward the passport carrier with a collection of travel stories.

Vera who?
for showers with children
Divide the guests into groups of three or four. In each group, one person is the model and the rest are fashion designers. Give them rolls of toilet paper and have the fashion designers create a wedding dress on their models. Once all the dresses have been created, have the models show off the dresses. Create categories such as “Best Catwalk” and “Most Creative Use of Materials” and let the bride award prizes to the winners.

Liar, liar.

for breaking the ice
Each guest should come up with three statements, two of which are true and one which is a lie. Depending on how well the group knows each other, the statements can vary in subject matter, from basic information to more intimate romantic details.

Where was your first kiss? Write down his answers. At the shower, see if the bride can guess the answers the groom gave. For extra fun, have all of the guests write down the number of questions they think the bride can correctly answer and give a prize to the guest whose number is closest. Did I have any children? Give a reward to the first couple that manages to unite.
