How to Plan a Vegan Wedding Menu
Consider You Budget, Heritage and Guests
Chelsea Clinton isn’t the only bride to offer an all vegan menu at her wedding. In fact, this trend is on the rise. People commonly misconceive vegan menus as drastically different. But you can actually have any type of dish you love, whether it’s an Italian pasta dish, or Asian style spring rolls.
The first step in planning your vegan-wedding menu is deciding what type of food you’d like to serve your guests. Instead of letting the vegan aspect lead you, turn to your own taste. If you love all types of food then why not go back to your roots and pick dishes that represent your heritage? For example if you’re of Brazilian descent, find wedding caterers who have the capacity to create delicious vegan Brazilian dishes. If your fiancé has a different heritage, have your caterer create a wedding menu that represents his culture as well.
You can also approach your vegan wedding buffet menu planning by sampling various vegan dishes for each course and choosing the dishes you like the most. When exploring wedding catering menus, keep the following vegan dishes in mind:
